The Copper Empire Vol. 1 offers one of the most comprehensive looks at the Copper Country available, representing over a century of the region's rich copper history from Painesdale to Mohawk. It represents the Copper Country not as it once was at one specific time, but as an aggregate representation of how the Copper Country appeared during any and all times - specifically between 1860 and 1960.

The set includes twenty regional maps centered around various towns and locations as well as another thirty close-up views detailing the surface plants of several mines, mills, and waterfronts. The set also includes a short glossary defining the purpose of the various types of buildings labeled within the maps.
