Copper Country Media, LLC currently consists of the husband/wife team of Mike and Tricia Forgrave. They reside in Calumet, Michigan
Tricia Forgrave
Operations Manager
Tricia first came to the Keweeanw back in 1985 when her brother graduated from Michigan Tech. Two of her most vivid memories of the area are visiting Hungarian Falls and Brockway Mountain Drive. The area left an impression on her that she couldn't forget. When she came to Michigan Tech in 1995, it was no surprise that the area felt like home. She has resided in the Keweenaw since then except for a brief 6-month hiatus.
Tricia graduated with from Michigan Tech with a degree in Forestry. The degree suited her well, given her love of the outdoors, but she didn't want to permanently leave the area in search of employment within her field. Instead, she found herself within the field of bookkeeping. She didn't stop with helping clients with their bookkeeping - she also assisted clients with setting up web carts and web sites to increase their sales.
Mike Forgrave

Mike was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and spent the first six years of his life in the Soo. One of his favorite places to visit was the Soo Locks to watch the freighters. His parents moved to Fargo, North Dakota and then near Lansing, Michigan. When it was time for Mike to go to college, Michigan Tech was his first choice.
Mike graduated from Michigan Tech in 2000 with a degree in Scientific and Technical Communication with a concentration in Video Production. He has worked as a production assistant for Fox 66 in Flint, Michigan and later as a video producer for Summit Training Source in Grand Rapids, Michigan. However, the call back to the Keweenaw was strong and he moved back to the area in 2002.
Mike's specialties include web design, graphic design, video production and content creation. His expertise is in the history of the Copper Country.
